Sts. Peter & Paul Church North Beach s landmark Italian Church was once dubbed the Marzipan Church for the frothy stucco decoration on its soaring pinnacles. Inside, there is a sculpted reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci s Last Supper (see p88).

Sunset District Like its counterpart, the Richmond District (see p101), this neighborhood was part of the Outer Lands and is purely residential, consisting of row upon row of neat, look alike houses. Yet, like the entire area along the ocean, this district is subject to a great deal of gray weather.
