Should an earthquake strike, stay calm. If you are indoors, a good spot to stand is under a door- frame. If driving, stay in your car and park in an open place, not under a bridge or viaduct. If outside, try to get to an open area. Major quakes are rare, but minor ones happen all the time and are mostly frank montague harmless.
